Whitstable Week 2010

26th - 30th July

Whitstable Week is held annually in july by Whitstable Yacht Club and is made up of a racing series from
Monday to Friday and Entertainment in the evening.

 

The Racing is held in Whitstable Bay with only a 10-15 min sail to the course from the club.
The bay offers the opportunity for full size triangle and upwind, downwind courses being laid whichever the wind direction. this gives the opportunity for each fleet to sail their ideal course.

Boat parking is on the beach or a short wheel from the harbour beside the club.

For those who are not sailing the club has a veranda for sitting, drinking and chatting with a view of the race course and the beach.
The bar is open from lunch to the evening for the week.
The club is based in the heart of Whitstable offering easy access to great shops and Restaurants.

 

The Whitstable Oyster Festival week is also running during the week offering lots activities and entertainment.
